Samson SACONSPIR Overview:
Designed for electronic producers and performers the Samson Conspiracy MIDI Control Surface is a portable USB bus powered device that allows you to command your software with authority.
The control surface features 25 velocity-sensitive tri-color LED back-lit trigger pads with aftertouch for sequencing melodies and rhythms as well as launching clips, loops, and samples in a live performance. The surface also includes 14 endless rotary encoders, 10 back-lit function buttons, and six precision faders.
All controls can be custom assigned via a backlit LCD with a master encoder and four directional navigation buttons. You can program the type (Note/CC#), mode (momentary/toggle) and MIDI channel number of the pads, knobs, faders, and buttons. An integrated X/Y touch pad allows you to manipulate effects and transitions within applicable software instruments.
The controller works equally well in the studio and on stage. It features a 2-channel DJ mixer section with a cross-fader as well as dedicated transport buttons. The trigger pads and knobs can be used for live remixing in applications such as Virtual DJ and Traktor or for dialing in effects and synth settings in Reason, Ableton Live, and any other VST plug-in. You can save and recall up to 20 user presets for different setups in various recording and performance applications.
Either the lightning or 30-pin USB camera connection kit can be used with the device to control your favorite MIDI-compatible iPad applications. The control surface comes with a mini USB to USB cable.
