NiSi Swift True Color VND Kit 1-9 stops (1-5 Stops VND and 4 Stop ND) Overview
This innovative system allows you to simply
press additional filters onto the front of your
VND, giving you the ability to reduce exposure by
1-9 stops. The
True Color VND offers great control over exposure settings, allowing you to reduce shutter speeds and use wider apertures for those stunning shots. Plus, with its true color result that avoids color shift, you’ll be able to take pictures in any condition – bright and sunny or dark and dreary. The
Swift System also comes with an exposure range-control filter ring with hard stops at each end, so you can easily dial in your desired effect. With its high definition optical glass, nano-coating, True Color result that avoids color shift seen in other Variable filters and
no “X” effect, this ND filter is sure to give you the results you desire.
The
NiSi Swift True Color VND Kit 1-9 stops (1-5 Stops VND + 4 Stop ND) includes a
NiSi True Color 1-5 Stop VND and an
ND16 (4 Stop) ND that can be combined to cover a range of
1-9 stops, making this one of the
most versatile variable ND kits on the market.
NiSi Filters has created this unique filter system, the
SWIFT, allowing you to
transform your TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 1-5stops (0.3-1.5) to a
5-9 VND True Color, simply pushing into place the ND16 and creating a new filter, ready to obtain a reduction of the light that enters the lens from 1 to 9 stops. The characteristics and quality of the filter
avoid any “X” or
“cross effect” from which variable ND filters often suffer.
The unique
lens grade optical glass that made the NiSi brand famous was also used for this ND Variable. Furthermore, there is the Nano Coating treatment which makes the surface
waterproof and resistant to grease and dirt. Cleaning the filters has never been easier.
The
ND16 True Color 4 stops filter is not threaded on the lens side*, as NiSi created a new
Push to Fit system in order to adapt easily and “swift” the ND16 True Color 4 stops to your TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 1-5stops (0.3-1.5) and transforming into a
TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 5-9 stops (1.5 – 2.7).
