Designed for mobile journalists, run-and-gun video creators, and live streamers, the Comica Audio CVM-VM10-K1 combines a compact shotgun microphone with a phone clamp and a handle grip. This cost-effective solution enables you to create your own portable smartphone video rig, great for improving the quality of your YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams, and interviews when shooting at home or on the go.

Made of lightweight and durable aluminum, the shotgun microphone features a cardioid pickup pattern that captures the sound directly in front of the mic, while rejecting unwanted ambient noise. It also features a built-in shockmount that reduces vibration noise when moving about. The mic plugs into iOS/Android smartphones that are equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it yields a significantly improved sound compared to the built-in mics on these devices.

You can quickly adjust the universal clamp, which accommodates phones 2 to 3.7" wide. A shoemount sits on top of the clamp for holding the mic above the phone. The shoemount features a rotatable design that allows you to direct your mic toward your subject.

With its smooth, all-metal finish, the handle is comfortable to hold. It screws on and off the phone clamp for easy storage and installation. For convenience, there is a 1/4"-20 thread at the bottom of the handle for mounting your rig to a tripod, and another 1/4"-20 thread on top of the shoemount for mounting an accessory of your choice.

Easy to use with plug-and-play operation, the mic is powered by your phone for battery-free operation. A foam windshield, a furry wind muff, and a carrying case are included.
